PRIMETIME I (Mallet Percussion Solo) This unaccompanied solo is designed to be performed on a marimba, sue to it’s range. But it could be modified to work on a xylophone, This 4-mallet piece in written in B-flat major with lots of accidentals and uses dynamics, tempo changes, and clef changes. A moderately difficult solo, Primetime I leans on 4-mallet rolls and uneven (everchanging) mallet spread.
